Dreams on Fire

Then you came around,
You made my fears disappear.
I never had some one like you,
you could see me right through.

It was a start,
A start of something new.
The feeling was so strange,
But it felt right to be with you.

You made me trust.
Happiness and content,
Were not just words anymore.
And I couldn't let go.

Suddenly, my dreams were struck,
Struck by a flame.
My dreams were on fire!

All the whys,
All the fears,
All the loneliness,
Came back in full blow.
Why did you go?

My dreams were now burnt,
Turned to ash,
Flying away with its smoke.
