An Autumn Day

She started about,
On an Autumn day,
She put on her pullover,
For it was a lil' chilly,
Down the street.

She walked through
The dusty lane,
Through the fell leaves,
On an Autumn day.

Listening to the sweet chirps
Of the morning bird,
Such a pleasant start,
To a dull Autumn day.

There she sat,
Beneath the tree,
Looking at the falling leaves,
Lost deep into her thoughts.

She sat and looked on,
As the reapers plucked down
The ripened fruits,
Sweetened by the joys of the hot Autumn sun.

Life is just like that she thought,
Memories dry up n fly away,
Hard times put up reap sweetness in the end,
life is just like the joys of an Autumn day.

Hmm, truly speaking, this poem sounded to me like some poem in our English poetry book ;)
Anyways, this is kind of a very orthodox type of a poem meaning, a very ur type poem, ie, this is a typical poem from u, about happiness, longing, looking forward to good things and so and so forth...
But i liked it... it was a very poetic poet, with inner meanings..
Maybe i should take this to my English teacher, she might be able to explain the poem properly, cos the inner meaning of this poem is beyond the scope of my understanding... :D

Just keep up the good work..

Good going.. :)
