Kitty Cuddle

The light touch,
Fell upon the soft green grass,
The sparkling eyes had an anxious look,
And the little kitten came into sight.
Fur as soft as feather,
And pure white like snow,
Her lil' paw found a ball,
O! It was nice soft wool.
There was a jump and a meow,
Poof! the kitty was entangled!
She gnawed at the wool,
As cutely as she could,
But all her efforts were in vain.

Then a girl passed that way,
She saw the little kitten,
Ran towards her and dis tangled it.
She cuddled her up,
And took it home,
She found her cute new friend.
