The Island

From a faraway land,
I see an Island,
Standing in the wild ocean,
All by itself.

Waves splashed on it,
Cutting its rough edges,
And making the edges smooth,
Wecking every piece of land it reached.
The sky roared,

And the strife in Heavens above,
Wrecked its fury upon the island,
Burning its world down.
Then the sea was calm again,
From the ashes of its soul,
The Island started its new life,
Slowly, yet elegantly it rose again to the new beginning.
Now the Island stands still,
In the wide ocean,
Its new saplings spreading over the ground,
Giving it the look of a peaceful green dot in the blue.

The brightness of the sun shines upon it,
Sparkling its reflection in the ocean,
The fresh breze in the air,
Raffles through it.

It will forever survive the circle of life.
Shall always rise from its wreck,
Always welcome the new hopes of survival,
Always have wise n young soul.
